So this ride came about from wanting to do something chilled. It’s got good sections of gravel/pathway and do be aware with good weather it can get busy with walkers on sections. You can stop for coffee in Conflans if you wish. As you head out of Conflans keep an eye on some of the houses on the steep hill on the left. This used to be the place to come for the wealthy a hundred years or so ago, when the population was less than 4000, and hence you’ll see some amazing places. Nicolas Roche was born in Conflans in 1984.

The Route is just a tiny bit over 50km and basically flat as it follows the Seine. As this is not a “hammer it” ride take the time to watch out for the signs that have been put up to show some of the spots used by various impressionist artists to paint the Seine.
